Scrancycle was born from a simple truth: South Yorkshire needed more reliable food waste collection teams. The idea came to life in 2025, when our parent company, Clearance and Clean Up Ltd, found itself struggling to have food bins collected. Having run one of the largest man-and-van waste operations in the country for over 15 years, we knew that our team was perfectly positioned to provide a reliable food waste collection service.
At the helm is Managing Director Tom Pickering, a hands-on leader with years of experience in waste and recycling. Working directly under Tom is Lewis Fletcher (General Manager), who ensures our business runs smoothly day-to-day, while Rob Tolson (Operations Manager) leads the operatives and oversees complex waste logistics for clients nationwide.
They are supported by more than 30 skilled professionals across finance, compliance, customer service, and operations. Collectively, our team brings decades of waste management expertise, delivering a dependable, efficient, and fully compliant service to every client.
